Why the student gift is important to Sophia: The student gift is a way for students to improve Vassar for years to come. By giving, students can make a tangible, lasting difference.

Major: Intended Double Major in Political Science and Russian Studies
Hometown: Deadwood, South Dakota
Extracurriculars/Hobbies: Vass Shakers, 2018 Class Council, Vassar Alliance for Women in Foreign Affairs, and Main House Team. I like naps, buzzfeed quizzes, travel, cooking, and books.
Favorite place on campus: Probably the Drama Costume Shop
Favorite place off campus: Three Arts. Or my house, depending on how far off campus we were talking. They're actually very similar.
Why the student gift is important to you: I think the student gift offer students an opportunity to get involved with an all-campus project that they can actually see take affect. It's important to be able to make visible improvements to campus or donate to student accessible funds. Student input is so important in this - everyone can get involved in some way and make things happen.
